Tyler's teacher suggested that instead of buying Valentine cards this year, parents helped their child make cards for their classmates. She didn't want anyone to be left out of the fun. I've been trying to figure out something creative that we can make that really says something about Tyler's personality. One idea I saw on pinterest involved making bookmarks. Since he's a book worm I thought that'd be great. And maybe attaching ribbon and some type of candy. But I'm open to other ideas! We will work on these this week after school. So any ideas? Links are appreciated!
PS. Thinking about this being his last year of elementary school makes a little sad.. There won't be any making crafts/cards with him next year :-(

Do they still ask the kids to bring cards for the entire class?
What a great idea! I like the bookmark idea. Have you seen the bookmarks made of paint cards? Maybe shades of pink for the girls and reds for the boys? Too cute and then you could just tie candy to the ribbon or stick candy on the back of the bookmark.
@sherri - Yes we have to make them for the entire class.
